Chapter 177 ~ ...oh for the love of... NOT AGAIN.

Just like last year. Getting over a minor heartache--Roboter and I have talked only 4 times these past two weeks. And work is a mess. AND...

one of my friends is engaged. That I once had a crush on. It's StarKnight Skater, whom I've known for 5 years now.

You know, I really don't seem to do well the last month before my Birthday, it seems. What happened a year ago... *hunts through the archive*

--OH YEAH! Pouncer gave me word of Agathangelos' engagement which, unfortunately, I didn't get to attend the wedding of. Something that, unfortunately, I still get upset at Siren over, but as long as neither of us mention the wedding my temper's at bay.

Tuesday 25 September 2008 ~ Chapter 67 ~ Sort of a Depressing Turn of Events.

Okay, I need to stop moping but, there's been a lot going on these past two weeks that, I'd been so worn out I didn't even remember to do the Top 20 so, before I forget altogether let's take care of that.

Alright, that done, things need to be addressed, *stat*--

~ Rage Against the Machine, you are definitely some serious heroes in the music world. --those wondering why I say this, this recent YouTube from 2 September sums it up quite nobly:
"Bulls on Parade" and "Killing in the Name of" - Rage Against the Machine

For the background on this, read more at the blog on Above the Fold.

~ Siren, thank you again for the half-gallon of mint-chocolate chip ice cream. Sadly I haven't snacked on that since you visited Tuesday afternoon. I haven't finished the half-gallon though... got a helluva long way to go.

~ Kit darlin', whoop your ex in the behind on my behalf, because he kinda screwed up our hang-out time Thursday. Or not. In any case, see you Monday afternoon after I'm done at three. Hopefully. We defo need to hang out.

~ DJ, your comic version of Trans-Europa is nothing short of brilliant!! --for those who aren't familiar too well with her she's a fellow Barney's Angel and, she's 15 and LOVES Kraftwerk. And she draws wonderfully. I have evidence.

This is her cover for her comic version of Trans-Europa *it's a clicky-thumbnail because, really, yes, it's kinda big to fit on this blog, but it's still awesomeness*

~ Louise dear, I never thought you'd get the tail end of the storms we Floridians/American folk get as far as Tropical Storms, Hurricanes, and the like. My thoughts are definitely with you. As well as to all in the path of these darn storms. I hate 'em, don't you know? [Hurricane Andrew started it all for me, Summer of '92, folks.] And I do want to thank you again for putting together this for me, which is my song of the day for today:
"Neon Lights/Neonlicht" - Kraftwerk

~ Saint Barnabas folks, the Choir says, as of tomorrow, weeee're baaaack!!

~ The Verve, THANK YOU BIG TIME FOR REUNITING!! I didn't think you guys sound THIS awesome now, I'm definitely getting your new album ASAP, because this song's been playing on the indie station here. I didn't recognize you guys... OMG. I'm defo happy you've guys got new stuff out; hell, I didn't even realise you guys had your new album "Forth" out on 26 August--gosh I'm behind...
"Love Is Noise" - The Verve *yes, the verve!*

~ And finally, Roboter--yes, I saved you for last, 'cause everything I've had to say to you, I've e-mailed. I'm not gonna repost all that on here. Kinda lacked the patience for it.

...alrighty folks, I think I've just about said everything that should've been said this week. And tonight, for the first time in two weeks, I think I'm going to bed with a helluva clearer conscience. And God himself knows why.

*sigh* Now, anchoring down for the consequences of the letter--I'm hoping against hope that... well... the situation won't be as bad as I've been wigging out on.

*fingers crossed!!*

And until the next round, which won't be until Tuesday most likely...

Chapter 145 ~ And the best way to get over a break-up is...

...when you get a set of Kraftwerk pins from your best British buddy in the whole wide world!!

Photographic evidence--this came in the mail today from Louise!! ~
OH FCUKING JOY!! KRAFTWERK!!

So yes, it's safe to say that, fcuk the fact that it's a Monday. She [and the legion of my many friends and fans who've been with me since yesterday's break-up] made my day.

*squee!!* I <3 Kraftwerk. And I <3 Louise.

And I absofcukin'lutely <3 those pins!

Chapter 139 ~ ANOTHER New Kraftwerk Fan-Fic!!

And this time, it's got nothing to do with the Clandestine Rebellion. The idea for it came to me yesterday at work, and I jotted down the main highlights of it.

The result: [Computer<3]

So it's loosely based off the situation I'm going through right now, except... what if Ralf of Kraftwerk read this blog? The idea for that and what happened resulted in the making of this new fan-fic. I can't wait to write both Metropolis AND [Computer<3]...

You know, these two might make these next long four weeks some of the best ever...

Chapter 133: OMFG! HE'S SO HANDSOME!!! *squee!!*

...I'm sorry but, when it all comes down to it, Ralf Hütter from Kraftwerk can put my common sense six feet under. To me he's so the ish.

Photographic evidence: from Coachella Festival '08, California, a month and a half ago...

...um, hello, handsome German techno-pop Roboter here!? *squee!!*

*nods* Yup, lookin' good for only 61 years old [or is that 62? not sure].

You know, it's been a while since I did a "I <3 Ralf Hütter from Kraftwerk and I cannot lie!!"-type post. I think I better start rummaging through pictures...

Hmm... *cue innocent halo*

P.S. Special thanks to my friend Louise [codename Transistor] for the pic!

Chapter 129: Because Photobucket's adding to my Quarter-Life Crisis...

...it seems I'm having a minor helluva time sending a picture to Karl Bartos, formerly of Kraftwerk, through a message at his site. So, attempting MySpace and, should all else fail, here.

*clickable thumbnail. thank goodness.*

Die Mensch-Maschine... wait, how'd you say Remix in German?

*sigh* Hopefully I can get the word across that, really, there IS more than one way to remix a Mensch-Maschine.

Until the next round...

Chapter 128: I SURVIVED!! ...well, sort-of.

And by sort-of I mean, let's just say I've got two slammed elbows and 3 1-centimeter-long burn marks on my left wrist from when it accidentally kissed a just-out-of-the-fry-vat French Fry basket.

So, I'm off for the weekend. *squee!!* However [comma] that doesn't mean I'm out of the woods yet. Still got pictures to take on Sunday for the Choral Yearbook which, by the way, was put together in three hectic hours Wednesday night. You can check it out here: Cantate Domino! ~ The Choral Yearbook 2007-2008

In other news, it's a Kraftabulous day today for an overdose of Kraftwerk.

Until the next round...

Chapter 93: For Pouncer--More Kraftwerk!!

For one, the William Orbit 12" remix of "Radioactivity." Great tunage.

You know, I'm thinking I'm gonna use this in my "Trans-Europa" story. It's got what it takes to fit in the next on-board battle versus the enemy. You know, I think I'll use it. Yeah, it'll work alright. :-P

Which, speaking of, I'm working on the first of THREE new Chapters for the story, and they all focus mainly on Karl and Anneke because, if y'all have been reading the story up to now, I've been sort of neglecting them. They desperately need their own Chapter time. And tonight I'm in the mood to get the stories out of me like nobody's business.

For two, thanks to my friend Louise in England for this. Yes, you might want to listen to the entire song just to see why this deserves a spot in the "OMFG!! He did NOT just sing that!?" catagory:

I'm giggling hysterically trying not to make so much noise in the Underground listening to this song. But you know, considering this was in '91, and a soundcheck...

...but still, for Ralf to sing THAT!?

*ROFLMFAO!!*

...yes, I know. I'm a dork. Even when Ralf sings the most surprising things.

Until the next round--and hoping to have recovered from laughing by then...!

Chapter 89: Я ТВОЙ СЛУГА, Я ТВОЙ РАБОТНИК. [Yep, guess what tomorrow is...]

For one, y'all probably wondering, What the hell does all that Russian talk mean, Sun!?

Well...

Я ТВОЙ СЛУГА, Я ТВОЙ РАБОТНИК

means, "I'm your slave, I'm your worker" in Russian. If you're familiar with the Kraftwerk song "Die Roboter," there's a part of the song where the lyrics sung are

Ja tvoi sluga, Ja tvoi Rabotnik

...basically, that's the Russian part of the song.

It all ties in with what tomorrow is. It's Halloween. And I'm going to be the Mensch-Maschine for the occassion. It's gonna be one fun festivity to take lots of pictures for. Trust me.

In other interesting oogle-happy whim, Antenna sent me word on the Morning Roll Call--"all present & accounted for frau kommandant" as he puts it. Evidence:
Woowww!! It's the Schaufensterpuppen [Showroom Dummies]!! Niiice!!

You know, I'm having a very funny feeling about all this, between Antenna and I and, mind you, he's all the way in New freggin' York!!

...perhaps it is a small good thing to get my hopes up...

In case I'm too busy to post tomorrow, Happy Halloween to all from the Underground!!

Chapter 86: Kraftwerk Korner--What I <3 about Roboter!!

...alright, I've been lazy.

I've spent hardly any time this week oogling anything other than a picture of Ralf and a picture of Antenna. News flash: I'm an absolute dork. Big time. And I have no shame in that. But still. I should be oogling other pictures of the Roboter that is Ralf instead of Antenna [even though he is just adorable!!].

Sooo... with that in mind...

Ralf in '76--ooh la la!!
Hellooooooooooooo handsome!!

Zurich 1976--whoooowheeee!!
Did I tell you this picture just puts me at a standstill? [Oh, to be the Minimoog Synthesizer at the receiving end of that stare...]

From the 'Trans-Europe Express' video, 1977--tea time!!
In Vienna we sit at a late night cafe.
Straight connection--T.E.E.

Absofreckin'lutely.

Happy, happy Roboter--safe in KlingKlang.
I. Love. This. Damn. Picture.

Really, makes me wanna take Ralf out and just hug him to bits. He's so damn cute.

Florian. Ralf. Wolfgang. Karl. Don't blink!!
And I. Love. This. Damn. Animation.

Probably the only cool thing since 'Boing Boom Tschak' to jump out from the "Electric Cafe" album. What?

1976. Radioactive. And wow.
You know, I was thinking something just now, but it's probably best that I don't say it!!

:-X [my lips are sealed--big time!!]

Insert to the German 'Trans-Europa Express' record, 1977--Niiiiiice!!
Ooooh, it's tea time... and they saved a seat for me!? Aww...

*especially with ralf's eyes just pleading 'oh please, do join us for tea...' enough to unnerve me stupendously!!*

...waaaawwww... they're handsome...
You know, if this picture were to ever end up in color, or I were to really be at the receiving end of Ralf's half-smile-charming stare, I'd be unable to think clearly for possibly the next 10-15 minutes or so. I kid you not.

I swear, the man is just be-yooooooo-ti-ful.

...yeah, yeah, I know. I'm a dork. But anyway.

From the 1978 video for 'The Robots'--hmm... Man or Machine?
...no seriously, he could've fooled me big time with that. I think it's the Roboter but... you never know...

From the 1978 German TV appearance with 'Die Roboter'--daaayuummm!! Those are some niec-lookin' Roboter, no?
Especially the one all the way to the left... that first one... yeah, him...

...yeah, Ralf. Him. *giggle*

And of course, what Kraftwerk Korner "I <3 Ralf" post would be complete without THIS wonderful gem...
The Mensch-Maschine, 2004. My, what beautiful blue eyes he has!!
Seriously, I could lose a staring contest to this guy. I'd probably look away within, oh, maybe 5 seconds? Or blink. In any case, he'd beat me right there. And I'm tellin' y'all why--it's all about the freckin' eyes!!

My, what beautiful eyes he has...

the better to make the bright sky envy with!!

You know, I think I've found a StarKnight codename for Ralf. And he shall happily be called Roboter because, well, yeah. He's just a wonderful semi-human being and whatnot.

...yes, I must've heard their music waaaaaay too many times, but I can't help it!!

I mean... let's be real... [Werkaholics, sing along!]

We ♥ Kraftwerk and we cannot lie--
them other robots can't deny,
that when Ralf and his gang storm up onstage
playing music on machines, we get SPRUNG!!

[...yes, my play on 'Baby Got Back'!!]

You know, if I dare ever was at the receiving end of a stare from Roboter I don't think I'd get out of it that easily. Or maybe I'd just drown in it. I don't know. I mean... well, damn. I just love his eyes. They're just so... so...

they're just so schön. Beautiful. Really, they are.

I wonder just how many brave souls have fallen under the wonder of the bright blue eyes... I just wonder...

~ 'Sunshine'

P.S. - 7:06 P.M. - I can't believe it took me three freckin' hours just to do that post!? Good God I'm a dork!!

25 October 2007

Chapter 84b: More mischief for the masses!!

For starters, it's 6:34 P.M., "Hey Sandy" is on and I'm feeling a little goofy...

...yep, the adorable moi. Hee.

About 20 minutes ago I took this pic of m'self. Figured everyone could use a much better updated me. Yeah, I cut it that short. Or at least it was much shorter earlier this month when I cut it again. On 1 October. Before my birthday.

Man, me as Ralf for Halloween... this is sooo gonna rawk. Really.

And anyway, what self-respecting Roboter wouldn't want to brag about her cute self to the world a little bit?

But... anywho. Back to music and whatnot.

7:12 P.M. - Back here with the latest, as the single edit of "Trans-Europa Express '91" is on.

...well... not a lot going on, actually...

Yeah, I know, I'm a dork.

Anyway, I'm back to being elusive. Yes, I know, it's a bit lame but, anything is better than talking to someone who just wants to talk about nothing and basically be pointless.

On those kinds of people... FUNK DAT!!

Anywho, back to task on hand. Somewhat.

This week my two best friends from the Choir are hemming my gray pair of pants for Halloween, since they're gosh-awful long. And since good ol' Wal*Mart didn't have anything smaller than a freckin' Size 4, of course the pants fit well on the butt. Unfortunately, they also need a desperate hem-job. So, dear Steffi's gonna double-hem the pants for me, thank God! Plus, she knows what she's doing, unlike myself, who prefers hemming by stapling.

Yeah, it's a bit lame-o on my part, but I can't hem to save my life.

A bit pathetic, but that's the truth, and that's life for y'all.

I think that, this week I'll stop in at Hot Topic and see if they have plain black ties. That way, I've got a plain black tie and I could probably put ten red paint dots on it [to represent the 10 light diodes on the Mensch-Maschinen ties] after it's tied so I don't have to untie and retie for Halloween and whatnot. At the moment all I've got is a boys' clip-on tie, as I can't really tie a tie real well, and plus a boys' tie isn't too big but, hell-ooo!!

7:33 P.M. - "Funk Dat" is on, and Antenna and I are in a chat-happy state of mind!! Yay!!

*LMFAO* Sorry but, "Funk Dat" is just one of the most amusing songs I've ever heard. Makes me laugh every single time.

7:50 P.M. - At the moment Antenna and I are going through the usual file exchange, the side-switching of music for our Kraft-happy enjoyment. Annnnddd, he sent me the pic of him as a Mensch-Maschine too!! *giggle-happy*

7:57 P.M. - "Pretty in Pink" is on, and I'm still giggle-happy over Antenna as a Mensch-Maschine. No, really. He's quite adorable!! What!?

8:25 P.M. - Listening to the soundcheck for "Flying Through the Clouds" by, surprisingly, Kraftwerk. Antenna caught a good soundcheck right there. I absolutely LOVE this song already. Just something so... I don't know... block-rocking about the song. Simple, nothing elaborate, just one helluva cool track. It's amazing to think that the Roboter could think up something so freckin' awesome...

No, really, you have NO idea how cool it really, really is. It's just... damn. You just don't know. You'd have to hear it yourself, basically. I'll get around to posting it one of these days, I promise. It'll have to be featured in the next Kraftwerk Korner, that's for sure.

...yes, I finished hearing that song [8:33 P.M. now, "Hey Sandy" about to end], and it DEFINITELY deserves to be on the next Kraftwerk Korner. End of.

Trust me, your ears will be thrilled to hear it.

8:46 P.M. - I just went through listening to about 3 different mixes of my all-time favorite Killing Joke track: "Adorations." Ace stuff right there.

So anywho, life is kinda quiet here in the Underground. Not a lot going on, not a lot of people either. It must be a Thursday night.

*glancing around the Underground...*

...yep, it must be a Thursday night.

9:00 P.M. - You know, I've kinda come to admire Antenna. He and I might not talk much, but we love Kraftwerk. Oh, to have met him in the days he played with his Minimoog that he had. Oh, to have heard him play "Autobahn" on his Minimoog and Farfisa Organ.

Man, that would've been AWESOMENESS!!

But, seriously... I mean, we're just friends. And we both love Kraftwerk. What are the odds that there could actually be something developing from there?

Worst bit is, he's all the way in New York.

Ah well, at least he's doing alright, I suppose. And, he's a good person to talk to. And, I swear, his Ralf and Florian impersonations are just hysterical.

9:15 P.M. - ...meh, gettin' exhausted but, it's worth the lack of sleep, really. I mean, anything to strike up some charming conversation with him.

...yeah, you can tell there isn't much going on.

9:46 P.M. - ...yeah, still here. Kinda bored.

10:26 P.M. - Yep, still here, still awake, still chattin' up a storm with Antenna.

Hee.

11:55 P.M. - ...uh... yeah... still up...

...yep, I made an animated me. Yay. I'm hawt.

*giggle* You know, I gotta be at work in 5 hours!?

~ 'Sunshine'

Chapter 77: Moving on strongly, holding on tightly.

...progress is being made, slowly but surely.

Song of the night: "So Many People" [extended dance mix] by Hubert Kah.

Joshua's hoping he doesn't have to work tomorrow [like myself] so that we could hang out and do something. So far, we've talked music. He likes classic rock while I'm more of an old-school goth/new wave/technopop [Kraftwerk!!]/punk rock girl. And, apparently, he likes what he sees in me. So far.

I mean, he's a nice guy, he's pretty cool. We don't talk a whole lot but, he's alright. He's rather handsome too. And, well, yeah, he seems really nice to just hang out with. But still--news flash!! I'm not going to hold my hopes up.

...yeah, still sort of holding on to my heart for dear life, all while pressing forward to brighter things. And to do that takes a whole lot of guts!!

Especially with my heart still in semi-fragments. Yeah, I'm still mending it.

Meanwhile, turns out the meeting's on NEXT Monday, not yesterday. Dear God, I was warped out of my head. Thankfully, I still have another week to finish up some SOC's and get that ready for Assistant Manager Larry, who'll be administering the meeting on Monday.

I asked Manager Joel about when my brown shirt [my junior manager shirt] was gonna be in last night, he said "Soon." So, that's something for me to look forward to, big time.

Speaking of, I also had the thrill of running into Manager Barb last night. We managed to catch up on things and she's been waiting patiently for the day that I'd be promoted to some level of management!! She's excited for me, and I don't blame her at all.

In other news, yes, I'm still oogling Ralf's steel-blue eyes. Beeeeeeautiful, beautiful steel-blue eyes. *sigh* I swear, I could just drown in them. Just, waaawww.

[I'm oogle-eyed over a German who's made technopop for over 3 decades--is that wrong?? Please tell me it's not wrong!!

And finally, I happily have an iPod Nano. 4 GB. Got all my Kraftwerk in it [geez, speak of that handsome German's band, why not!? *facepalm*]

...is it stupid of me to think of Ralf more than of Joshua!? No one ever told me it was wrong!!

Maybe... maybe I'm just wierd like that. And I guess I'm just happy to be that way.

Until the next round...

Chapter 75: ...okay, it's not hazel eyes, it's steel-blue eyes!!

Alright, the steel-blue-eyed Mensch-Maschine himself.

Yes, turns out Ralf's got steel-blue eyes. I thought they were hazel. And I was wrong. *chuckle*

...but come on!! He has very lovely eyes!! At least, I think he does. And I know damn well I mentioned that quite a good bit in the last Chapter. Well, today, I can stop hiding in giggly cowardice from his steel-blue eyes. It's a German thing.

Which leads me to that Ralf wallpaper I did last night...
Die Mensch-Maschine an seiner feinsten Stunde.
The Man-Machine at his finest hour. Very classy, très chic. I love it.

Without the excess black, the image itself:
Again, niiiice.

...oh and yes, I did put on there an adorable mini-Roboter Ralf holding his cute little VW. I had to do it.

Which leads to the Kraftwerk comic I did last night. Prepare to laugh.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
Yep, I guess you can say I had a lot of fun killing time last night. *giggle*

Otherwise, not a lot today. Day off. I'm gonna go get some stuff done.

...and by the way, one more thing:

I got my Mensch-Maschine costume for Halloween this year!! YESS!!

Until the next round...

Chapter 73b: ...oh Lordy, not the hazel eyes...

...yes, I'm afraid he has finally done me in for sure. Yes, I'm talking about that Mensch-Maschine Captain of Kraftwerk, Ralf "Wir sind die Roboter" Hütter.

...erm... yeah... I'll get to them darn eyes in a moment...

...wait, wha--oh dear goodness...

Karl: I'm gonna kick your butts, boys!!
Wolfgang: For the last time, this isn't a race, you dork!!
Florian: *thinking to himself* Uhm... where's the finish line?
Ralf: ... *no comment*

...riiiiiiiiiiiiight!! You boys keep doin' what you're doin'. And stop arguing like kids already, sheesh!!

*ahem* Anywho.

*glass shatters* ...oh, NOW what!? --what the hell!?

Ralf: Watch out, kiddo!
Florian: It's the attack of the Schaufensterpuppen!!
Karl: ...uhm, isn't the club this way?
Wolfgang: Karl, we'll do that AFTER we annoy Sunny senseless! *grin*

note--"Schaufensterpuppen" = "Showroom Dummies" [if you've heard the song by Kraftwerk you'd get the punchline.]

*slight jawdrop* ...ohhhhhhh crap... *hides behind a couch*

...

*waits a few minutes*

*glancing one way* <.<

*glancing the other way* >.>

Whew!! *comes out of hiding* They're gone. Especially Mr. German Hazel-eyed Mensch-Maschine. I had to hide desperately from him!!

Evidence enough--
...behold, the hazel-eyed Mensch-Maschine himself!!
*yes, it's a clicky thumbnail, but only because i ain't sure i'd want to oogle at hazel-eyed ralf again. yeah, i know. i'm strange. what else is new?

but still!? GAH!!*

So anywho!! ^_^ *giggle* Yay!! The Mensch-Maschinen are out and about and not bothering me!! Joy!! Bliss!! Happiness!! Whee!! *happy dance*

*a not-so-distant voice* ...uhm... I don't think so...

*blink* ...ohhh no... not... not him again... *facepalm*

Hello Sunny. *grin* I'm baaaaack!!

*slight jawdrop* ...crrrrrappola... where's the couch, where's the freckin' couch...

*runs and hides behind couch, but peeks her head over the couch, blinks... and mentally beats the panic button 'til it breaks!!*

Ralf: I'm watching you, Fräulein Sonnenschein..."

*hides behind couch again* AAAAAAARGH!

*ahem*

Stop starin' at me with your hazel eyes, Roboter Sir. I can't be that giggle-happy for long, you know.

Ralf: Now I wouldn't be so sure...

*...you know, I'm surprised that panic button hasn't broken yet! really. now just what does ralf think he's up to...!?*

Ralf: Aww, you're hanging in there!? Great!! Then I shall sing a very pretty song for you--in German!!

"Neon Licht, schimmendes Neon Licht
Und wenn die Nacht anbricht ist diese Stadt aus Licht."

...damnit... I can resist all except for German "Neon Lights!!" News Flash, folks: that's it. I'm done!!

*recovering until the next round*

~ 'Sunshine'

Translation of the lyrics to "Neonlicht" ["Neon Lights"]:
Neon lights, shimmering neon lights
And at the fall of night this city's made of light.

Chapter 72: It's a Kraft-y field day!! [More Kraftwerk for the masses.]

Hee... how about some YouTube action?

For one, a bit of "Autobahn"...

Two, some "Roboter" from '91...

Three, an interesting song that Ralf did some guest vocals for...

And finally, a "Tour de France" courtesy of Kraftwerk...

Hee...

Chapter 71b: Hee... <3 [Yes, another "I *heart* Ralf Hütter!!" post. I am such a dork.]

There is much to be said about the Prince of the Mensch-Maschinen. And usually, I don't find Germans to be handsome [maybe because of their history? i dunno]. This one on the other hand, well, let's just say, Halloooooo Stattlich!!

...and yes, y'all read proper: I did say Helloooooo Handsome!! in German.

For 35 years or so Ralf Hütter has been holding up the banner of "Man, Nature, Technology" as the fearless leader of Kraftwerk. And rightly so, as I'd think it's safe to say he's still proudly waving that "Mensch, Natur, Technik" banner, and here's to hoping that nothing's gonna stop him and the Mensch-Maschinen now!!

About him, from Wikipedia

L.A. Weekly, Thursday 2 June 2005

From the official Kraftwerk fan site--the Interviews page

Grin on, guys. Especially you, Ralf.

One of the most charming images of the Mensch-Maschine, ever.

Oh my God!! They're indestructable!!

...aww... [because we all could enjoy seeing a cute little smile from a roboter every now and then...

yes, that smile could make me do this:

i told you, i'm a dork. in fact i'm an uber-dork. and what?!]

Yay!! Kraftwerk for President!!

The Mensch-Maschine version of the Oval Office: KlingKlang!!

One of the best songs ever: "Numbers/Computerworld!!"

From monkey to Mensch-Maschine is but a glorious evolution!!

I love this album. I really, really do.

My little 'now and then' pic of Ralf that I worked on diligently on MS Paint.

...alright, I think I'm done giggling about Ralf now!!

...oh no, wait!! One more. I've got one more.

Quite possibly the most dangerously irresistable picture of Ralf I'd ever seen and, in this case, got the guts to post here...

Oh.. my.. God...

That's it. I'm done.

I swear, I think I'm gonna have to step out of this blog just so I can recover--Visual Sensory Overload!! Too much Ralf Hütter for one blogpost sitting!! MEIN GUTT!!

[...but then again, you can *never* have too much Ralf Hütter... right?]

Until the next round, Cheers!!

Chapter 71: Computer Love!! <3 [First art project at age 24!!]

*NEWS FLASH!* You just know you're a Werkaholic when you do this to your beloved c.d. player...

First picture taken at 24 years old!! Yay!!

And yes, that is my c.d. player, that I drew on, with my black permanent marker!!

And yes, I did draw Ralf in the center, surrounded by hearts, because I <3 him!! *giggle* And yes, I drew a Pocket Calculator for Florian there, and a headset microphone on Ralf, and electronic drumsticks for both Karl and Wolfgang. 'Cause I'm crazy, funny, and cool like that. Uh-huh!!

Meanwhile my real mom sent me a cute picture of her puppy dog Gizmo...

Aww... just, aww... ^_^ Cute puppy dog!!

Yes, after a very bleah-ish first half of the day, it's getting better now, and I feel like being a total dork. @_@

...what!? It's my birthday, whatcha gonna do 'bout it!?

...that's right. Nothin'. :-P Now have a nice day!!

Until the next round, Cheers!!

[What goes down in the Underground...]

Mondays start the new workweek. Wednesdays tend to differ, depending on if I need to work or not--usually I'm off, and usually visiting "Uncle" Joseph. Thursdays is the Daughters of the King meeting night. Fridays and Saturdays are normally hectic--never the same drama twice. Sundays = Church day. I update the blog accordingly, with a rant or two, the occasional music post, and sometimes the most random nonsuch.

So stay tuned, because things are fixing to get interesting... and, save your forks--the best is yet to come...
