The funeral Saturday went alright. I can't really say much else other than, the pain's a little greater than I can bear right now.
I could really use a distraction. Until then...
There is a quaint and proper halo,
when the tears can't be cried,
when the pain can't be said enough,
when the hurt isn't worth the words--
a silver lining in the clouds of despair,
in the dark sky of sorrow,
that silver lining being hope,
the assurance of faith in things
greater than the pain.
To the few and many that have passed on,
to leave friends and loved ones behind,
but not without leaving sweet reminders
of the reward for keeping the faith...

"Love" ~ The Sundays *song of the week*
May they and all the souls
of the faithful departed,
by the Mercy of God,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
rest in peace,
light perpetual ever shining upon them.
Amen.
I think that, finally, I have begun to move on. Again.
